SANTA FE, Texas -- Thursday morning Santa Fe Police received a call of suspicious persons at Santa Fe Storage, 15442 Hwy 6. The caller advised that two individuals were apparently sleeping in one of the storage units.

Officers found two persons identified as Gladdin Louis Presley, 33, of Holiday Lakes, Texas and Lisa Rachelle Evans, 23, of Longview, Texas.

Upon checking, both Evans and Presley were found to be wanted on 1st Degree Felony Warrants for Engaging in Organized Crime from Diboll Police.

Both were arrested without incident and will be held in the Galveston County Jail, without bond, pending transfer to Diboll.

Evans and Presley were reportedly in the Santa Fe area since May, visiting relatives.

Neither is suspected of having committed any crimes locally but Santa Fe Police continue to investigate their activities since their arrival in the area.

Presley's criminal history includes a conviction of Assaulting a Family Member and Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
