Galveston Police Seek Public Assistance in Identification
Convenience Store Clerk Brutally Beaten in Robbery

GALVESTON, Texas – The Galveston Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying two Robbers.

On August 18th, at about 3:15am, two individuals, a man and woman, were loitering at the Exxon convenience store, 6026 Seawall Boulevard. (61st Street at Seawall Blvd) The clerk asked the two to leave for 45 minutes and finally called 911 when they refused.

The man, was a black male, approximately 6 foot with a medium build and feminine mannerisms, went behind the counter and assaulted the clerk before stealing cigarettes.

The woman, was a black female, approximately 5’06”, stayed in the store during the assault and left with the man. Both perpetrators fled the scene on foot north  on 61st Street. (Towards the Causeway)

Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Sollenberger at 409-765-3770.

The female looks more like a MAN.. just posing as a female. I hope they catch them very good survillance pictures.

From what the story says that he has feminine demeanor.. Looking at the photos it's obvious that he's gay... Also that is not a women it plain to see that the second suspect is a man dressed like a women... I was born and raised on Galveston island and confident that GPD will get these people ... It's burdens on society and people tht act like animals is the reason this country has to gone to shit... I hope they get what they deserve

I believe if the convenience store and the city post a large enough reward someone will give these two up.

Wow. That is so scary to know there are crazies willing to beat the crap out of an innocent person just to get away with some cigarettes. Since this nonsense just seems to get worse everyday, I don't want to even imagine what kind of world my kids will have to put up with when they become adults. Scary.
