Friendswood Police Activity February 1 through 7, 2010

Narcotics

   Feb. 7 (11:27 p.m.) - Kaitlen Brennan, 17, of Webster was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.  She was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1400 block of W. Parkwood.  She admitted to being in possession of marijuana and cocaine.

Feb. 6 (4:46 p.m.) - Jeffrey Clifton, 22, of Texas City was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. Clifton was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 3700 block of FM 528.  Soma, hydrocodone and ibuprofen were found in the vehicle.  Clifton could not provide a prescription for the drugs.

Feb. 2 (12:14 a.m.) - Cody Donaldson, 20, of Pearland was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Donaldson was stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of E. Parkwood.  He allowed officers to search his car.  Hydrocodone was found in the car.

Feb. 1 (9:23 p.m.) - Reid Mosis, 18, of Friendswood was charged with Possession of Marijuana.  Mosis was stopped for a traffic violation in the 16800 block of Townes Road in Forest Bend subdivision.  During the stop, the officer observed marijuana debris in the car.  A search turned up drug paraphernalia and a bag of marijuana.

Driving While Intoxicated

   Feb. 5 (11:09 p.m.) - Christine Noack, 48, of Friendswood was charged with DWI.  Noack was involved in a collision with a parked car in the 200 block of E. Castle Harbour.  She was unable to complete a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Feb. 5 (12:07 a.m.) - Angelica Goff, 17, of Friendswood was charged with DWI.  Goff was reported as a possible intoxicated driver.  She was found in the 700 block of S. Friendswood Drive.  She failed a field sobriety test and registered .17 on a breath test.

   Feb. 1 (2:11 a.m.) - Alan Williamson, 19, of League City was charged with DWI.  Williamson was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1700 block of W. Parkwood.  He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit a sample for testing.

 


Burglary

     Feb. 6 (11:41 a.m.) - A Blackberry phone and a garage door opener were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Buckingham Ct.  The vehicle had been left unlocked.

     Feb. 5 (11:00 p.m.) - A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at Emeritus at Friendswood, 1310 S. Friendswood Drive.  A window was shattered to gain entry. 

 Feb. 5 (9:46 p.m.) - A briefcase and a bag were reported stolen from two vehicles parked at Hope Lutheran Church, 1804 S. Friendswood Drive.  A window was smashed to gain entry.

 Feb. 5 (9:06 p.m.) - A notebook containing personal information was stolen from a vehicle parked at Village on the Park, 400 E. Parkwood.  A window was shattered to gain entry.

 Feb. 5 (9:35 p.m.) - A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at Friendship Haven, 1500 Sunset.  A window was smashed to gain entry.

  Feb. 5 (9:00 p.m.) - A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at Friendswood Friends Church, 502 S. Friendswood Drive.  A window was smashed to gain entry.
 
  Feb. 5 (6:23 p.m.) - A car stereo, compressor and tools were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Brigadoon in Anna Lea subdivision.

     Feb. 2 (6:00 p.m.) - A red Honda CRF-100 motorcycle was reported stolen from a garage in the 300 block of Woodstream Circle in Eagle Lakes.  The victim believes that someone entered his unlocked truck and used a garage door opener to access the garage.  The motorcycle may have actually been stolen the night of January 29 but the victim was only able to make the report several days later.

Theft

   Feb. 7 (2:56 p.m.) - Jenny Giles, 29, of Pearland was charged with Theft.  Giles attempted to leave HEB, 701 W. Parkwood, without paying for merchandise she had placed in a re-usable grocery bag. 

Feb. 4 (7:55 a.m.) - Two wheels and two tires were reported stolen from a truck parked in a driveway in the 3200 block of Prince George Dr. in Friendswood Oaks subdivision.

Domestic Violence

Feb. 4 (10:30 a.m.) - Don Barajas, 42, of Friendswood was charged with Terroristic Threat.  Barajas was accused of harassing and following his estranged wife and making threats to kill her.

Miscellaneous

Feb. 7 (12:18 a.m.) - Christopher Bralley, 29, of Houston was charged with Disorderly Conduct - Discharging a Firearm.  Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 16400 block of Paint Rock.  Bralley admitted to firing several gunshots into the ground at the residence of a friend.  

Feb. 5 (3:29 p.m.) - Christopher Nepute, 17, of Pearland was charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle.  Howard Pool, 18, of League City was charged with Evading on Foot.  Nepute was observed driving recklessly at Sunset and W. Edgewood.  He led police on a short chase into Brazoria County, westbound on County Road 129.  At one point Nepute stopped his vehicle, allowing his passenger Pool out of the vehicle.  Pool attempted to flee on foot but was stopped by bystanders.  Nepute then drove his car directly at the officer, causing the officer and himself to take evasive action resulting in a collision.  Neither the officer nor Nepute were injured.
