The Police News

September 22, 2009

Huntsville, Texas -- The state of Texas is set to execute a death row inmate tonight for the murders of three people in Houston in 1995.

Authorities say Christopher Coleman was sentenced to death for fatally shooting Heimar Prado Hurtado, Jose Luis Garcia-Castro and three-year-old Danny Giraldo during a drug deal gone wrong.

Coleman approached the passenger side of a car that had stopped at a dead-end street, and he then fired a gun numerous times into the vehicle.

The young boy's mother Elsie Prado was also shot, but she survived several gunshot wounds and identified Coleman as the gunman.

Coleman was taken into custody in Tennessee a couple of weeks later.

If his execution is carried out, Coleman would be the 18th person executed in Texas this year.

Comments:
I think it is ridiculous that the state of Texas tax payers feed and house these type of people and then put them to death 14 yrs later, when it is found this is the person that did the crime that was so brutal including a lil kid he should have been taken straight to the death chamber.
Thank God another POS is wiped off the earth.
LOVE TEXAS!
